A big welcome to Margaret and Eugene McCallion who are the proud new owners of ‘A Country Lane’ in Main Street, Montville.
Margaret and Eugene, originally from Ireland, have been big fans of the shop for years. On a visit in June when the couple stayed upstairs in “Santas Country Attic” they learned of this favourite Montville specialty shop being on the market.
“I had been nursing for 27 years and a change was well over due. Montville is so friendly and I must say it is a nice change to be spending time with people who are on holiday and experiencing some of life’s pleasures rather than at a low point in their life which is more common when nursing.
I just love Christmas and have always said it would be great to have Christmas all year round - now it is! Everything will pretty much stay the same including the wonderful staff - Wendy and Beverly, plus all the fabulous Christmas decorator items and country style homewares.”
