Residents asked to help the Birdwing Butterfly
The Richmond birdwing is one of Australia's largest butterflies with a wingspan of up to 15cm in females and 13cm in males. The male butterfly is famous for its striking yellow, vibrant green, red and black colours. This beautiful butterfly has now virtually disappeared from our region.

Anton Szilasi - at the age of 16 is making a positive difference in the world
Anton got on the internet, located a small medical clinic in one of the poorest areas of India and is now working towards wiring them with solar panels and lighting. The Abha Seva Sadan Multitherapy Charitable Health Centre in Kashijhara, Jharkhand, North East India was thrilled at his offer and after much planning, Anton is just about ready to head over there.“The clinic only receives about two hours of unreliable power a day. A reliable lighting source will improve the centre's ability to service the surrounding villages,”said Anton.
